News:

  • Our Troop is currently engaged in a recruiting mission! Please feel free to check out our Troop, we’d love new members and would love to show all interested what our Troop is all about

Information
Troop 301 is charted by Assumption BVM in Bethlehem, PA. It is a member of Minsi Trails council and is part of the South Mountain District.

Meetings

  • Every Thursday night at 7:00 pm
  • Assumption ABVM church basement
  • 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015
  • Class “A” uniforms (scout uniform shirt) are worn
  • Meetings are run in a patrol fashion

Trips

  • We generally leave the church on Friday nights for camping
  • Day trips are normally scheduled on Saturdays
  • Class “B” (Troop T-shirts) are worn when traveling
  • We enjoy biking, hiking, merit badge weekends, cooking demonstrations, and other fun outdoor activities

Summer Program

  • We attend a yearly summer camp at various Boy Scout camps where scouts learn valuable outdoor skills
  • We also schedule a yearly trek, know as High Adventure, each summer where scouts test their endurance on bike, canoe, or hiking trips

  4. Recently arrived to area, interested in obtaining POC information. Son very active in Boy Scouts is looking for a new trop

  5. My son and I took part of the 9th annual Remember the Trail ride on the Montour Trail. Troop 301 was there providing drinks and snacks for the riders. Just wanted to say a huge thank you for providing that service! It was very much appreciated!
